04 / THE DETAILS

Good questions.
Simple answers.

Are my images uploaded anywhere?

No. All image processing happens locally using your browser's Canvas and file APIs. PixelDock doesn't have an upload endpoint or a storage account.

Can I process multiple images at once?

Yes — Convert, Compress and Resize work with multiple images. Crop, Favicon and Colors work on the image you select in the file list.

Which formats are supported?

Input: PNG, JPEG and WebP. Output: PNG, JPEG and WebP. Exact encoding support depends on your browser. JPEG does not support transparency, so transparent areas are filled with white.

Why did my compressed image get bigger?

Compression is not always guaranteed to make a particular image smaller. It's affected by the image content, original encoding, export format, and quality setting. Try a lower quality or smaller maximum edge.

Does it work offline?

Once the page is loaded, processing itself doesn't require a network connection. This site isn't currently configured as a fully installable offline app.
