01. Bring your images.
Open the studio and choose files from your phone or computer. Drag-and-drop also works on desktop. PNG, JPEG and WebP files are supported. You can select up to 16 images at a time; each image must be at most 25 MB and 30 megapixels.
02. Convert or compress.
Use Convert to change images between PNG, JPEG and WebP. JPEG is widely compatible, PNG preserves transparency, and WebP can be especially efficient. Use Compress to choose JPEG or WebP quality and an optional maximum edge size. Click the main action to export all loaded images.
03. Resize or crop.
Use Resize to set a target width and height. With aspect ratio locking enabled, the width sets the size and each image keeps its own original proportions. If you need a fixed output rectangle, switch ratio lock off.
Use Crop for one selected image. Choose an aspect ratio, then drag a crop rectangle on the image with a mouse, finger or stylus. Tap Reset to start again.
04. Create a favicon set.
Choose a square-ish image with the main subject in the center. PixelDock takes a center square crop and generates 16, 32, 48, 180, 192 and 512 px PNGs, plus a browser-friendly ICO file, a site manifest and HTML embedding instructions. Download everything as one ZIP.
05. Extract color palettes.
Select an image, choose 3–10 colors and select Extract colors. Tap a swatch to copy its HEX value or use Copy CSS for a ready-made set of CSS custom properties.
A few useful tips
- For transparent artwork, choose PNG or WebP, not JPEG.
- For photos with small file sizes, try WebP at 75–85% quality.
- For a truly tiny favicon, use a simple icon without tiny text.
- Image editing works locally — the result is only downloaded if you ask for it.
